The service

Teksinfra analyses Snowflake account usage metadata and produces configuration recommendations. It is an analysis tool: it reports what it measures and generates statements you may choose to run.

Recommendations are estimates

Savings figures are projections derived from observed usage and the credit-rate relationship between warehouse sizes. They assume runtime scales inversely with compute, which is optimistic for many real workloads. Each figure is presented with a confidence level, and none of them is a guarantee of a result.

You are responsible for reviewing any statement before running it against your account, and for the consequences of running it. The application does not apply changes on your behalf without an explicit action from you.

Your account

You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for activity under your account. Tell us promptly if you believe it has been compromised.

You may not use the service to access an account you are not authorised to access.

Availability

We aim to keep the service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. Analysis depends on Snowflake's ACCOUNT_USAGE views, which have their own latency — typically up to three hours — and their own availability.

Termination

You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend an account that breaches these terms.
